I recently bought the...
I recently bought the stainless 692 because I loved the idea of shooting 57 mag, 38 special, and 9mm. The gun itself looks and feels good. Shooting 9mm wasn't very accurate but that could have been cheap ammo. The 9mm cylinder worked great. The problem I have is with the 357 mag cylinder. It is extremely hard to open. I thought a good cleaning and oil would help, but it did not. The release pin in the 357 cylinder is very hard to depress, it actually makes an audible click when you push it in with your finger. The pin in the 9mm cylinder works great . I have tried working the pin in and out to try to loosen it up, but nothing helps. I have had friends try the gun out and ask why it is so hard to open. For the price of the stainless Taurus, I would expect a little more.

Excellent firearm! Put...
Excellent firearm! Put about 100rd of 38sp, 9mm and .357. Gun handles great and recoil is very manageable. Plus it can shoot 5 different loads (.38 so,. 38 sp +P, .357 mag, 9mm and 9mm +P). Changing the cyclinder is easy and fast. You do need to use the supplies moon clips for 9mm since they do now have a casing lip. If you don't use the moon clips, the ejector doesnt grab the 9mm casing. Overall, a wonderful gun.
