Mama, who was 75 years...
Mama, who was 75 years of age at the time, wanted one of my deceased father's .410 shotguns for home self defense. She liked .410 because of light weight and easy to handle. Instead, we equipped Mamma with Taurus Judge ported barrel, 2 1/2" chamber, 3" barrel, and bottom rail, with LED spot light installed. What a perfect assembly for a 130# grandma. She absolutely loved the configuration, and handled over 50 rounds of #7 shot at life sized targets at the range. Couldn't be more satisfied. We call her new Taurus Judge, "Mamma's Flashlight". Easy to handle, surprisingly easy recoil with ported barrel, easy to find sights, smooth double action trigger, and great soft and comfortable grips.

Very nice, tight, good sight picture. Little recoil (my guess is because of the porting). Hey in this old mans view; a great self defence weapon!
