Nicely made, smooth...
Nicely made, smooth function, quality revolver. Works great with factory ammo. I shoot 44-40 in a couple of rifles, and reload 44-40 on Dillon SDB, and use a Lee case gauge to check after reload. Even though the reload ammo will slip in and out of case gauge, the cylinder bore is too tight, and most reload ammo will not fully seat in cylinder. Prevents cylinder from rotating. This is a problem discussed on the SASS forum. Revolver is now at a gunsmith to have cylinder reamed. Since most 44-40 shooters reload, I felt this issue needed to be reflected in rating.
