The Adams Arms Base 14.5 Manimal FH Highlander is a semi-automatic 5.56 NATO piston AR-15 style rifle built on a forged lower and forged upper with Type III hard-coat anodized surfaces. It features a 14.5 in QPQ Melonite barrel with a 1 in 7 in twist, a mid-length short-stroke piston gas system, and a pinned Manimal flash hider. The Kryptek Highlander hydro-coated finish gives the rifle a durable, patterned exterior while keeping the platform ready for a red dot or scope via the flat-top Picatinny rail.

not happy first off...
not happy first off the color is not right and the second thing is the upper and lower are very loose together which is a simple fix 'accu wedge' but this is a brand new rifle ,and at around 35 to 40 yards this rifle shoots about a foot and a half low with regular ramp front sight and carry handle rear sight so after I find out if I can get a sighting system to work ill do another review and also had a few feeding issue at first but that seemed to work its self out' this is not the gem I dreamed it would be gonna check out some other piston ar companies at least for me ,I would not buy adams arms again
