APF’s M16A1-style 5.56 NATO rifle features a 20-inch chrome-lined 4150 CMV barrel with a 1:7 twist, rifle-length A1 gas system, fixed A2 stock, and classic A1 3-prong flash hider. Built with forged 7075 T6 aluminum upper and lower receivers and a mil-spec trigger, it’s configured around A1 forged-pattern ergonomics and A1 iron sights.

I like it but was a little disappointed in the packaging. It was cellophaned to cardboard and shipped in a box. This is the first firearm I purchased like this. Usually it's in a case or a box with the protective foam. Maybe it's just the way the manufacturer made it.
