Shoots great!!!...very...
Shoots great!!!...very accurate!!!...it will also shoot steel cased ammo with no problem at all...this one has an 18.6" barrel (AOM180) which is the Canadian version to the best of my knowledge but there is no recognizable difference between this version and the 18" USA version (AOM130).

I've wanted an M1...
I've wanted an M1 carbine for a while now, and you can't beat the price of the Auto Ordnance. When I got my carbine, I couldn't wait to shoot it. When I did, I got failures to feed using both magazines, and the hand guard had some wobble to it. After some pondering and examining, I found the 5 round magazine spring installed backward, and the 15 round magazine had a bent feed lip. I had to cut a small shim to put under the barrel band so the hand guard wouldn't move when I shot it, straighten the feed lip on one magazine, and reverse the spring in the other. The first fifty or so rounds were a little rough feeding into the chamber, but the more I shot it, the better it got. Apparently these need a little break-in. Now it feeds flawlessly. On the plus side, it is very accurate, the bolt is very light to work, and it has very little recoil. I would give the gun a 5 rating if I hadn't had to do a little tinkering to get it to function correctly. Price - 5 Accuracy - 5 Fit and Finish - 4 Reliability - 4 (needs break-in)
