The Barrett REC7 6.8 SPC is a compact, dependable AR-style semi-automatic rifle built around a piston operating system. It runs cooler and cleaner by separating heat and powder residue from the bolt carrier and trigger assembly, helping reduce stoppages and extend cleaning intervals. The 16-inch chrome-lined barrel is sized for the 6.8 SPC cartridge, and the rifle features an A-2 style compensator, a protected folding front sight, and a fully adjustable rear backup sight for use when optics are not in play.
