Barrett’s REC7 DI is a lightweight, modular AR-style rifle built for reliability and accuracy, inspired by Eugene Stoner’s direct impingement approach. The upper and lower receivers are machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and treated with Type 3 hardcoat anodizing for durability. A cold hammer-forged chrome-lined 16-inch barrel supports consistent performance, while the mid-length gas system is designed to function reliably with or without a suppressor. The rifle is equipped with Magpul furniture and an ALG QMS trigger, plus an extended slimline handguard with M-LOK accessory mounting slots for flexible setup.
