The Bushmaster ACR Basic Adaptive Combat Rifle is a modular semi-automatic 5.56 NATO platform built around an adjustable gas piston system designed to run cleaner than traditional direct-gas setups. This model features a 16.5 in cold hammer forged barrel, a folding seven-position telescoping high impact polymer stock, and ambidextrous controls for comfortable use from either side.

I have had this ACR...
I have had this ACR for eight years now and I still love it just as much as when I first opened the box. I have put over 2,000 rounds through it and it has never jammed. With this rifle I have shot more hogs at one setting than any other rifle I have. I don't shoot it as much as I used to because it is a collector idiom now. I did change the trigger out for a match grade one and that made a lot of difference. I wish they would start making it again

Love the ACR! Shot...
Love the ACR! Shot about 400 rounds of green tip on one range trip. 1/7" twist CHF non chrome lined but nitrided barrel shot tight groups. I installed a Geisselle SD3G trigger and Eotech XPS3 prior. After the range trip I really enjoyed cleaning this rifle. Finish allows parts to be wiped clean. Gun just ran like a sewing machine. Everyone at the range loved it. I put a Midwest Industries mlok rail and now I'm in love! 5 stars.

This rifle is awesome....
This rifle is awesome. I love the coyote color. I originally wanted black, but everything that I have is black so I decided to get the coyote color. This is the first tan colored gun that I've ever gotten. It's fun to shoot. I love the stock, and everything about it is awesome. Although it's heavy, everything on it feels solid. The weight doesn't really bother me. I put magpul pro back up sights and an eotech. I also got the enhanced rail with fde magpul ladder rail panels a black caa mvg foregrip to switchback and forth with the original magpul handguard. Magpuls fde doesn't really match that well but I do think the coyote color looks good with some black accessories and a black magazine.
