This rifle is great...
This rifle is great looking and feels good to shoot. It is fairly accurate. The quality of the materials used is very good. Fit and finish are quite good also. The double set triggers are crisp and clean. Buds service was quick and first rate as usual. That is the good for the Mini Sharps. Now for the bad. The Vernier Sights are almost impossible to use and lack fine adjustments. My biggest disappointment was with the extractor, or the lack of a functioning extractor. From the first shot on the extractor failed to work. after over 100 rounds fired the extractor never functioned at all. I had to use a cleaning rod to push the shell casings out. The casings were deformed and hard to remove. For what the Mini Sharp costs, this is an unacceptable flaw. To me it was a $1,200.00 Wall Hanger. I traded it in on an Winchester 1885 Low Wall in .22 WMR. The Winchester is vastly superior to the Chiappa in all aspects. Do not waste your money on the Mini Sharps. High price does not equal high quality in this case.
