do you self a favor THIS IS THE WORST RIFLE EVER DONT BUY FROM CIMARRON FIREARMS this is the second time that i purchase a 44-40 from cimarron they all have the same problem the chamber is to tight and the bore diameter is bigger .429 and you cant chamber a anything bigger than .427 diameter bullet and also problems whit the ejection . i sent the rifle twice to cimarron and they sent the rifle back to me whit the same problem i ended up sending the rifle back

If it weren't for Budsgunshop I would of never been able to buy this. Gorgeous rifle and fun to shoot. The 44-40 is a blast to hand load. Albeit the brass is difficult to find, but I have this guy who knows this guy. Thanks again Buds, DJ
