This is my second...
This is my second Uberti 1894, the first one being the 30-30 carbine, blued finish. Though beautiful, it had a very very difficult action at first. I must say it had me worried, since it was not cheap. With nothing in the chamber, it would lock up extremely tight. You would think it was jammed at first. But I stubbornly worked the action over and over for about 4 days. I could tell it was improving after a few days, so I kept at it. Now it is surprisingly smooth, like Uberti typically is. Breathe sigh of relief\\r\ \\r\ I took it to the range and it worked as expected. It's a somewhat heavy gun, so the 38-55 rounds didn't recoil much at all. My girlfriend asked actually asked for it back to take a few more shots haha. I would definitely suggest this rifle to those looking for a faithful 1894 replica with none of Mirokus annoying tang safetys and rebounding hammers.
