The CZ-USA 455 Varmint Evolution in .17 HMR pairs the 455 Varmint action with the popular Evolution stock design for an ultra-free-floated varmint setup. Even though the bolt is right-hand side, the Evolution stock is fully ambidextrous, including the cheekpiece and grip shaping. This configuration helps keep the barrel clear of stock contact for strong harmonics and consistent handling. A 5 rd. magazine is included.

This is the first...
This is the first dealings I've had shooting a 17hmr and I love it! I needed an ambidextrous rifle for my son and I and after reading many reviews I thought I'd give this one a chance. We are not disappointed. So far we've been shooting 17 grain CCI ammo through her and she's been putting 5 shots around 1" at 100 yards. The trigger is crisp (no need for an after market), absolutely zero recoil so it's a good rifle for younger people to learn on, and the stock really is beautiful in person. I'd be hard pressed to find anything to complain about with this rifle. Straight shooter, beautiful finish, incredibly accurate at 100 yards, and gives a good challenge learning to read the wind and bullet drop at +200 yards. If anything ever happened to this rifle, I'd definitely buy another one.
