The Daniel Defense DDM4 V7 CARBINE S2W in 6.8 SPC II is built around a chrome-lined, MP-tested 16-inch cold hammer forged barrel and a mid-length gas system for reliable AR performance. It features a lightweight MFR modular free-float rail, a mil-spec upper and lower with an enhanced flared magazine well, and a collapsible configuration measuring 32.636 inches when collapsed, with an A2 birdcage flash hider installed.

Once again, best price...
Once again, best price around for this DD in 6.8! And I was lucky enough to get it as this one sells out just as fast as they come in. Shipping was a little slower than I excepted, but at least it came in without any damage or anything. Only downside about my purchase is that it did not come with a Barrett magazine. (Stock from DD before mine came with 30rnd Barrett, now they come with 25rnd PRI). Other then the magazine, everything else is great! Even came with a hard case, unlike my S&W which was in a cardboard box.

AWESOME GUN! This is...
AWESOME GUN! This is my new hunting rifle and I'm crazy about it. Rock solid gun. You can feel the quality of it as soon as you pick it up. No rattle to anything, great crisp factory trigger, I love the handguard (which is $250 by itself), great finish, and she sure does shoot! Speaking to the quality of the weapon, I brought it into my local gun shop to bore sight it with the new scope that I put on it, and everyone there was thoroughly impressed. Everyone that held it had great things to say about it, and stated that they woud be looking into Daniel Defense for themselves. I have it zeroed at 100 yards, and it easily groups under an inch every time. I've taken one deer (150 pound buck) at 150 yards this season and it was DRT - Dead Right There. Over a week's time, I fired it three different days, 50 rounds each day, no cleaning inbetween...never had a hiccup. Oh, and if you've never fired a 6.8, there's barely any recoil to it. It's very comparable to the 5.56 in recoil...only the 6.8 isn't a varmint sized round! I'm a huge promoter of both Daniel Defense and the 6.8 now. Jump on board!
