This is the most excellent firearm I've ever fired in It's class. I was originally looking for a Colt Defense LE6940. I couldn't find one for around my price range (around 1100) anywhere. When I saw Daniel Defense had this on Bud's, I had to have it. When I got it at my local gunstore it was in perfect condition inside It's nice Daniel Defense hard shell case. To break it in I put about 200 PMC X-tac 5.56 which it ate through flawlessly. After that I put another 200 PMC 62gr green tips which also ran flawlessly. I couldn't be more happy with this rifle. Even all my buddies with their $2000+ AR15s get jealous because of the durability and craftsmanship DD puts into their guns. AND ITS ONE OF THE LIGHTEST ARs OUT THERE TOO!!!

This weapon is higher...
This weapon is higher quality than the m16a2 I was issued in the Marine Corps. Of course, it has not seen as many rounds as my issue colt but it is extremely tight and NO failures in the 800 rounds I have put through it. Great accuracy is achievable through the iron sights and the ergonomics are excellent. I love this AR.
