The DPMS GII Bull is an AR-style semi-automatic rifle built on forged 7075-T6 aluminum upper and lower receivers with a Type III hard coat anodized Teflon coated matte black finish. Designed around the reliable direct gas impingement system and an A3 flat top Picatinny rail, this LR-308/SR-25 pattern .308 Win bull-barrel setup delivers a stable, optics-friendly platform with a fixed A2 stock and free-float handguard.

The rifle disassembled...
The rifle disassembled itself the first time I took it out to shoot. The handguard or the receiver were improperly threaded somehow and could not be reassembled and properly aligned.On the plus side, DPMS did honor their warranty and did repair and return the rifle to me without difficulty or cost to me. Once it was able to go bang without coming apart, I then noticed how remarkably dreadful the trigger was. It was wholly unsuitable for what is designated as a long range weapon. I replaced it with a drop in trigger and then it finally became a functional long range rifle.

One hell of a gun for...
One hell of a gun for the price barrel cleans up will not much fouling hands loads 1/4'' groups at 100yd love this gun.
