The DPMS Panther semi-automatic 6.8 SPC rifle is built around a 20 in 4140 chrome-moly barrel and a gas-operated rotating bolt system for reliable AR-pattern performance. A 7075-T6 aluminum upper and lower pair with A2-style furniture, while the detachable carry handle and adjustable rear sight provide practical iron-sight capability with a standard flattop for mounting optics when desired.
