The DPMS Panther LRT-SASS is a feature-rich AR-pattern semi-automatic rifle chambered in .308 Winchester / 7.62x51 NATO. Built for accuracy-focused setups, it features an 18in fluted bull barrel with a Teflon-coated 416 stainless steel finish, a 7029 T6 A3 flattop upper, and a free-float handguard with rails. The package includes Magpul PRS comfort, Magpul BUS iron sights, and a JP single-stage trigger, making it ready for work straight out of the box.

Was looking to do a .308 AR build when I ran across this weapon. For the price this is a good starter for long range shooting. Be aware she is a heavy girl, so don't expect to be swinging her around like an AR-15. I really can't think of any cons to this rifle. I plan on putting a 24" barrel when DPMS has them in stock again, and adding a JP low-mass bolt. Overall I am very happy with this rifle, and Bud's was great as always.
