I'm sorry, I tried...
I'm sorry, I tried really hard to like this rifle, it's cool looking, feels good in the hands, but it stops there. I have sent this back twice to be repaired, the first one was when I got it, it was used, (Not Buds fault, they dont open the weapons packages) When Excel got it, they said yes it looks used and it was a Special from Zanders and they must have stuck it back in the box. Excel Arms had it back in a couple of weeks and made it right. Then I finally got to take it out, it would FTE 6 out of 9 rounds per clip, tried taking it to the range half a dozen times, tried ten different types of ammo, same results 6 out of 9 FTE. Now when I sent it back, they (Excel) completely changed, they had the rifle for easily three monthes, very rarely would anyone answer the phone, and rarley respond to emails, and if you got them to answer the phone, they didn't know what was going on, so their customer service is not good, I had to get Buds to contact them to even get a responce. The gal who helped me Kathy, tried at first, but the second time I sent it in, felt like she gave up too!!! When I finally got it back, it shot better, 1 or 2 FTE's per mag, I think maybe twice it shot the full clips, than the more I took it out to shoot, the more it started to fail. They get way to many guns back to their facility for warranty to turn around quickly. (That alone should raise red flags). I felt embarrased every time I took the gun to the range, people were laughing at me besause it failed so many time. The only thing I can say is I am lucky I bought the life time warranty, I will let you know how Buds handles this, nothing is worse than purchasing a weapon that is a better paper weight than it's intended use.!!! I leaving one star because there's not half a star. Disappointed
