A: Hi Wyatt. I think the lynch pin here is that NY restrictions applies to the actual dynamics of the "detachable" magazine. This firearms magazine is inserted directly in the pistol grip same as a regular pistol and not in "the other" location such as an AR or AK rifle, carbine or pistol.

A: I agree with you that it is probably banned. I suggest that you check with a local FFL holder to make sure. It is easy to get make a error with the messed up state laws.
