Okay… ran about 30...
Okay… ran about 30 rounds through rifle so far with a Leupold VX-Freedom Creedmoor BDC 4-12x40. After a few rounds of trying to sight-in, decided to get bore sighted by the range shop. After that… spot on! Few things to note… Yes… bolt sounds like the world's largest zipper on steroids when cycling rounds, but I knew this prior to purchase. I've heard this tones down over time… we'll see. The rifle I ordered was Kryptek Altitude, the pattern is correct, but the coloring is very dull, nothing like the photos advertising and reviewing on the internet. The packaging has the rifle shrink wrapped to a cardboard base and thus transit rubbing caused a couple inches of pattern on forend to rub off… I'll get my gunsmith to touch up… buyer beware. I purchased this for the light weight and it is very light. Put a slip-on airtech limbsaver over butt pad and it works great. 6.5CM isn't that much of a recoil, but I'm a senior now and with the lightweight rifle it's something I wanted to do… and I like it that way!! The issue I'm having, and why the 1 star rating, is about every other time trying to cycle a round, the bolt isn't picking up the round out of the mag. I have to double cycle to get a round and I have to watch the action to make sure it's successful. This sucks!! I'm going to have my gunsmith look at it for me… but note… Since magazines only take 3 rounds, I purchased a 2nd mag prior to receiving rifle, so I'd have easier time reloading. It does the same thing on both mags. Will update after I figure this problem out and get it corrected. Hopefully, won't have to send rifle to Legacy for repairs.

It's Perfect! 33 years...
It's Perfect! 33 years ago I purchased a "no name" Howa 1500 in .270 Winchester. After sighting in, it has been a sub MOA rifle since. It has blessed me with many deer. My only gripe over the years is the rig weighs 11.4lbs. This new Howa Super Lite is everything I hoped it would be. Sub MOA out of the box with factory ammo and less than half the weight. Just get it! You will not be disappointed.
