Over all it's a great little rifle. I really researched bullpups and decided to go for it. Once I got the gas piston gate set correctly it was flawless. For what it's worth there was nothing "wrong". I adjusted the valve the wrong way for start. Just remember that videos are sometimes backwards like a mirror. Excellent accuracy and makes a great truck gun.

KEL-TEC CNC RDB...
KEL-TEC CNC RDB Defender Semi-Auto Rifle, 5.56MM, 16.1" Bbl, Tan, A quick review of the Kel-Tec RDB. After reading some other reviews of the RDB I decided to buy one and spend some time with it on the range. As far as bullpups go it's probably one of the least expensive ones currently on the market. The chassis is mostly polymer as you would expect from Kel-Tek with a steel M-lock forearm and aluminum picatinny top rail. Its overall small size and ergonomics are good for a bullpup. Obviously if you were teethed on M4 there will be a transition. Loading, charging and adjusting to the downward, rear ejection are all different. The downward ejection is unique and resulted in some brass burns on my right arm while shooting from a bench-Probably not an issue with long sleeves or in any position that allows the brass to drop freely. I chose to mount a Leopold 1.5x4 and after obtaining a 100yd. Zero put approximately 100 rounds of various ammo through the weapon. Military 193 55 grn. ball resulted in 4-5 inch groups. 3-3.5 inch groups were obtained with Fed GMM 77grn. The RDB isn't a fan of the lighter bullets. The 1:7 twist, lightweight barrel obviously prefers a heavier round. In any case this isn't a bench rest rifle. It has acceptable combat accuracy for a PDW but it falls short of the accuracy I've experienced with Steyr AUGs. My testing was limited to 100 yds. I would expect similar MOAs at distance. During testing I didn't experience any malfunctions using the factory gas setting. No adjustment was needed. Mild deformation of the case mouths did occur but I suspect this is normal. My overall opinion of the RDB is favorable. Would I feel comfortable relying on this weapon for home defense or training for home defense, certainly. Would I choose it over other firearms with proven track records on an overseas deployment. Probably not. Everything considered, it's a good weapon for the money if you want a bullpup. I was considering other bullpups but I think this one will keep me entertained for a while. On a 1-5 scale rating I'd give it a 4, the only negatives, Ibetter accuracy would be a plus and some elements of its construction "might" be on the "light" side, particularly the extendable stock.

Excellent Bull pup...
Excellent Bull pup design, lightweight easy to carry. Only drawback I observed was the short length of the stock that makes it difficult to line of a scope.
