The LMT Defense MRP .224 Valkyrie rifle is built on the Monolithic Rail Platform with an SLK upper and an LM8 forend for a rigid, consistent mounting interface. This configuration features a 20-inch chrome-lined 1:7 twist H-bar contour barrel, a direct impingement semi-automatic bolt carrier group, and a two-stage trigger for a controlled shot break.

Rifle is very...
Rifle is very accurate. I like the rifle overall. This rifle is a 224 valkyrie. The lower says it is 556. LMT just use their same lowers they already have, and that's fine. But this can be dangerous in the future when these rifles are being bought as used rifles , etc. It has an ok trigger. I'm not a fan of two stage, but to me these just aren't great triggers. I'm not changing anything on the rifle, and I would buy again.
