I just got this rifle...
I just got this rifle recently. I went deer hunting. I was using hornady Ammo, 265 gr. It drop my whitetail right were it stood. Love this rifle.

This rifle shoots....
This rifle shoots. Using 240gr. Remington ammo I'm getting honest 1.5" groups at 100 yards. The wood to metal fit is excellent and the action as smooth as a well worn "JM" Marlin. Remington has finally got its act together in producing Marlin rifles. My one and only complaint would be that the wood lacks the MarShield finish of old. They still call it Mar-Shield, but it's nothing like the old finish, it almost looks like it was stained, but no finish was put on over the stain. Really it has no I'll effect on the performance at all. I'm very happy with this rifle and highly recommend them.\r Bud's as always, great job!
