A: Yes, this is new York compliant/legal. Bolt actions in any caliber are legal, just have to make sure it's 10 rounds or less. Tube fed 22lrs bolt action, semi automatic, lever doesn't matter as long as it's tube fed round capacity isn't restricted. So you could get a tube fed Marlin 60 with 15 rounds and it's legal because it's tube fed. Out of all of my 22lrs my favorite plinkers are my Marlin 60sb, and my Rossi Rio bravo, both great very fun rifles and both legal in NY. Hope this helps.
