I received the...
I received the Mossberg Patriot chambered in 270 in a timely manner, however it had scuffs and marks on the buttstock and forestock. I wanted a wood stock as opposed to the composite stock because it's just a better looking gun overall with it and paid more for it. So knowing that I'll be hunting with it and surely will be banging it around and scuffing/scratching it unintentionally anyway I elected not to send it back. The bolt is smooth. I mounted a Vortex Diamondback 4-12x40 and am happy with that combo.
