I bought this rifle to...
I bought this rifle to teach my kids how to shoot, and it has been perfect. It's accurate and has a fantastic trigger. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a training rifle or a handy backpacking rifle.

Excellent beginners...
Excellent beginners firearm. I purchased this weapon system for my son for his 8th birthday. It showed up to my ffl covered in grease, so his first task was cleaning his first rifle. I taught him the mechanics of the weapon. He has had a bb gun for a few years so he is fairly knowledgeable and safe with his rifle. Okay, back to the weapon. He absolutely loves it. I sighted in the .22 in 4 shots. Weapon comes apart and assembles very easily. At first he was a bit uncomfortable with the .410 as it does have decent recoil. What I did to break him of it is a demonstration. He really wants to shoot a rabbit. So I set up a can about 25 yds away and gave him one .22 round and told him to pretend that the can is a rabbit and he only had one shot. He missed. I then put on the .410 barrel and let him shoot at the can. He nailed it, and his face lit up. Might be a useless story for others but it might be helpful to someone. I also enjoy shooting it.
