The Ruger American...
The Ruger American Ranch Rifle is very well-made rifle, and the one I received shoots very well. My state recently started allowing straight-walled cartridge weapons for the "primitive firearms" (previously muzzleloader) deer season, and I was looking at both the 350 Legend and the 400. Decided to go with the 400, even though the 350 currently has more ammo options, due primarily to the better ballistics. Haven't had a chance to shoot it at longer distances yet, but it is consistently shooting small groups at 100 yards with the Winchester Deer Season XP loads. Looking forward to deer season this year.
