The Ruger American Ranch Rifle Gen II in 5.56 NATO is built around a 16.1 inch spiral fluted barrel with a threaded muzzle and factory-installed radial port muzzle brake. The synthetic FDE/Tan splatter stock is designed for secure handling, with a soft recoil pad and an adjustable length of pull for dialing in fit. A Picatinny scope base is installed for magnified optics, and a three-position tang safety helps prevent inadvertent bolt opening while still allowing the rifle to be loaded with the safety engaged.

Zeroed at 100 yards...
Zeroed at 100 yards and shoots smooth. Bolt was a bit stiff at first but after a few rounds it loosened up. The fluting on the barrel really makes a difference in the nose heavy of some rifles. I wish it had open sights on it. Overall, a great rifle.
