I am a Ruger fan from...
I am a Ruger fan from back in 1969. I am older now, 78 in fact, and I have stopped big game hunting and gone into .22 LR shooting. I have a couple of 10/22s and a Winchester Model 67 22, and after much deliberation, chose the Ruger American Rimfire model 08351 to round things out. I haven't decided on a scope yet, but I really do like the looks and feel of this rifle. I shoulders well and is weighted well for me, and I expect good accuracy from it with the nice barrel and the good ergonomics of the stock. I may stick with the original stock instead of getting something else. The trigger pulls nicely and the rifle points quickly. It just feel nice to me. BUDs shipped it as soon as their system allowed the payment to process and that was satisfactory, too. I am very ready to shoot it quite a bit to see what ammo it likes the best so I can get serious about dialing it in. I am not a stainless guy, but this rifle is quite handsome. I have never wanted to pay the Fed the tax for a suppressor, but that may change for me this time. Five stars from me at this time.

Finally got some range...
Finally got some range time today. This is probably the most accurate 22 I've ever shot! Bought it mostly for pest control in the yard but after seeing how it shoots, I want to stretch it out to 200 yards. I threw multiple brands and styles of ammo at it to see what it liked and everything except CCI Stingers produced touching 10 shot groups. Three of them (Aguila, Winchester, CCI) were subsonic with fps from 970 to 1080 and all hit the same point of hold with all holes touching. Now to see which one is quietest 😁
