This rifle shoots...
This rifle shoots great, as does my 6.5 Creedmoor Ruger American Predator (Gen 1). The cold hammer forged barrels are accurate. I shoot sub-MOA groups at 50 yards with this rimfire rifle using good standard velocity ammunition.

This is a decent...
This is a decent little rifle. I have several Ruger American rifles and my biggest complaint with all of them are the triggers. None of them will adjust down to what Ruger advertises. Trigger is adjusted down as low as it will go and it breaks on average at 4lbs.2ozs. It's fairly consistent but it's not a 3lb. trigger and it's not my trigger gauge. I have two that I use and they are within 2 ozs. of each other. Rifle will shoot 1 1/2 inch groups at 100 yds. with bulk ammo off the bench but I have to concentrate on the trigger pull. The barrel on my particular rifle isn't free floated. It has a definite pressure point at the tip of the stock. When I get the time I think that I'll go to a Timney trigger but I think that a factory trigger should live up to a manufactures claims. Finish on the barrel and receiver is nice and I like the green stock. I would buy the rifle again.
