I am not an expert...
I am not an expert marksman. Rather I am just a casual shooter and reloader. After doing a two-shot zero at 50 yds, I moved the target to 100 yd and fired five rounds. The group size measured 0.535 inches. I am confident that I will shrink the group size with minimal effort. Of note is that I could not bore scope the rifle - cheek riser in the way -, and therefore, it took me about 10 shots to get on paper, see the upper most hole on the target. I seated my bullets to 0.020 inches off the lands for an OAL of 3.35 inches. I used 130 gr Hornady SST bullets, 55 gr of H4831 powder, and Federal large rifle primers. The scope is a Vortex 6 - 24, and I had it set to 24X. I did a very simple modification to the trigger to reduce the pull to about 1.5 pounds, and I also did a simple shim to remove most of the side-to-side play. I really like my Savage 110 Storm chambered in 270 Win.

I really like this...
I really like this savage 110 Storm I can fit the stock just the way I need it to get a good fit. Love the detachable magazine that's a big plus for me. This rifle shoots good and to my surprise it groups factory loads very good. Most of the rifle I've bought I've had to make up loads to get good accurate hunting loads. But not in this case. Smooth action, and a great trigger!
