I bought this gun for...
I bought this gun for my daughter, but would not hesitate to carry it into the Deer Woods myself. I love the ergonomics of the stock shape for a great hold. Shot 3 different types of ammo through it and all shot 1-1.5" groups at 100 yards. Very Pleased with it! And as always Bud's got it shipped super fast! Thanks Savage Arms and Buds!

My dad bought my...
My dad bought my nephew a compact Savage Axis a few years back chambered in 350 Legend. The gun has done well and is very accurate for what it is. When I seen the new stock design, I had to buy my son one. It will be a while before he is big enough to shoot it. That being said, the gun feels great. Can't wait to see watch my son shoot a deer with it. This is my first time dealing with Buds and the process was very simple although my preferred FFL dealer wasn't on their list. All in all, I won't hesitate to do business with them again. No reason to not give them or the gun 5 stars. I know it's going to be a good one.
