Savage Arms B17 .17 HMR Black Bolt Action Rifle

I bought this gun for squirrel and target shooting. I was surfing thru Buds looking at their rifles and this pretty little thing came up. The price was really good, free shipping, and I've really had good service with Buds, so I ordered it. Of course I ordered it during the busiest time of year Nov/Dec. time frame. Took a little longer to get it in, but it finally got here. Picked up the rifle and inspected when I got home. It was packed well and no issues. Once I familiarized myself with the manual and the rifle. I cleaned it, mounted a nice scope on it. I have a small range behind my house that I test reloads and site rifles in. I boresited it in and proceeded to test and site the scope. I ran 20 grain, FMJ ammunition in it. I was able to get an 1/2 inch group at 100 yards. So, this is an outstanding rifle. Clean lines, done in black mat finished barrel, black synthetic stock, is a very attractive rifle with the scope. Accuracy is astounding, no recoil at all, and very, very pleasant to shoot. Trigger is very good. I also like the magazine. It's a 10 round rotary type, very much like the Ruger magazine, it's not the same design, but functions well. Little getting use to loading it, but once you figure it out it's fine. Great gun, great price, great service, and free shipping! You can't go wrong buying from Buds Guns!
