I live the look for...
I live the look for and finish of this .22 Precision. May not be precision for you but for me, I can destroy the center at 100 yards. I purchased this gun mainly and efficient tool for muscle memory and shooting technique. Another reason is for the aim small, miss small training but within 100 where I've shot it, you don't miss. Absolute tack driver. Plus, it's just a cool looking gun.

Upon first inspection,...
Upon first inspection, before acceptance, the rifle looked gtg. But after I got home with it the issues started. Day one at the range put 200+ rounds through it. Ammunition used: CCI standard SK Standard Plus SK rifle match SK long-range Match RWS match ammo I had several FTF, extraction problems, and nose dives, missing the chamber completely off the magazine and damaging the projectile. Then after the range day, it got worse, I got in the extra 2 magazines I ordered because the first magazine was damaged, looked used, and had knicks in the metal where I could get a fingernail into. I inserted a brand new magazine and it gets stuck, badly. When I finally get it to come out a spring falls out with it all mangled up. The bolt and internals looked used, I was going to remove the stock got the first screw removed, and then noticed the screw in the trigger housing was badly stripped already. The bolt was polished in areas and looked really used. I wish I could have inspected the bolt more closely at the gunshop when accepting this rifle, I wouldn't have accepted it. The only pro this rifle had, is when properly rested and time is taken to make my shot, it would put them through the same hole. That carbon fiber-wrapped barrel looks nice. I borescope the barrel and did to my eye notice the lands and groves look really shallow. This rifle did perform, but I had the whole time shooting it a single shot, could only load one round, anymore it wouldn't feed correctly. So in closing, I think for the money I spent on this rifle I could have purchased a good CZ 457 or perhaps a Ruger Precision rifle. Savage has to do something about their magazine design and when they put the word precision on a product, make sure the action and barrel look better than what was received. For the $800+ that I paid, I could have purchased a better-functioning rifle for way less and had good results as well. I am hoping that Savage will correct this and either replace this rifle or fixes this one to work correctly. I think they should replace it with a new rifle that has been tested to ensure proper feeding and function in general.
