Gun looks great feels...
Gun looks great feels good in the hands havnt had time to shoot it yet the internal magazine was bent so reached out to savage they jumped right on it and sending me a replacement magazine and door hinge other than that buds will be getting my business from here on there prices are fair and they ship fast

I own 12 Savage rifles...
I own 12 Savage rifles and this is the first one that I have had problems with. When I took the rifle to the range to sight in I quickly realized that the rifle wouldn't feed the bottom round from the magazine. In the WSM calibers the magazine holds two rounds. It would feed the top round flawlessly. When trying to feed the bottom round the bolt face would ride up over the case rim and jam into the side of the case causing rifle to jam. After disassembly I realized that the lips on the magazine box were much narrower than the lips on the magazine boxes of my other WSM rifles. The lips on the magazine box were so tight that it wouldn't let the second round in the magazine come free so that the bolt could push it completely forward into the chamber. Contacted Savage and they said that you couldn't buy just the magazine box. The magazine box comes as a complete assembly with the hinged floor plate, magazine spring and follower. Savage agreed to send me the new assembly at no cost which I thought was great. I got the new assembly within a week which I thought was acceptable. Upon inspection of new assembly I noticed an 1/8 inch gap at rear of floor plate when closed. Not sure what was causing the big gap, don't know if the problem is the magazine follower or the magazine spring. To make a long story short, I took the new magazine box from the new assembly and put it in the original floor plate assembly. I now have a functioning rifle. The rifle feeds fine now and is accurate. The bolt is very smooth and trigger is great. I appreciate the efforts from Savage but was very disappointed when new assembly showed up and was defective. I think they need to re- visit their quality control. Still can't figure out why the new floor plate won't close tightly. Dealing with Bud's was great as usual.

I love the look and feel of this rifle. It's very balanced and light weight. Ii love the finish and feel of the stock. It shoots great and performs flawlessly. It has a muzzle brake that can be turned on or off with your hand very easily. I highly recommend this rifle
