Switched out the...
Switched out the original stock with a boys hard wood. Is now my favorite gun for plinking and squirrel hunting. So far the only downside is a ejector malfunction but is easily fixed

after a lifetime of...
after a lifetime of using bolt actions , centerfire and rimfire,,this is the 1st one to fail me . if you buy this keep a cleaning rod or jack knife handy because no matter how many times you clean the barrel and the bolt , this savage will not extract . time after time. also the weaver scope blurs the target if i wear my glasses and none of my other scopes have this problem. how can a bolt action , not extract ? 1 star ,,,,it is very accurate.\\r\
