Bolt action is very...
Bolt action is very loose in conjunction with a loose plastic magazine makes feeding rounds difficult at times. Definitely a problem for rapid action of the bolt. Lower price Savaged model have much better bolt actions. The trigger guard in too close to the stock handle fingers get squeezed when firing on recoil. Poor magazine release mechanism, difficult for quick releases. In general while I usually recommend Savage rifles for good design and workmanship just not this model.
