There are quite a few...
There are quite a few rifle builders who are getting into the 6mm ARC game. Almost all of them offer rifles that are quite expensive, in the multiple thousands. Smith & Wesson lets you add the 6mm ARC to your collection without breaking the bank. What you get isn't a cheap firearm either. This is a top quality gun, with many features that would be add-ons on other builds. There aren't ambidextrous controls (other than the charging handle), and the gas system isn't adjustable. The idea is to tinker and twiddle with this rifle as little as possible, and she'll perform for you. When you start changing things, that's where you're likely to run into trouble. Straight out of the box she shoots high-quality Hornady ammo (108gr ELD Match) to 1.5 MOA with zero malfunctions. That's pretty good for a stock, mass-produced rifle. The 6mm ARC is a light-recoiling soft round, loaded to relatively low pressure. The longer 20" barrel really gets the velocity up to where you want to be. As usual, the purchase experience with Bud's is flawless, and their selection is the best, period.
