The Springfield Armory SAINT Edge AR-15 semi-automatic rifle is built as a feature-rich entry defensive platform, combining a 16-inch lightweight CMV barrel with a mid-length gas system and a full-length free-float M-LOK hand guard. An optics-ready MIL-STD-1913 flattop includes Springfield flip-up front and low-profile rear dual aperture sights for immediate use. The SAINT features Accu-Tite receiver mating and a short reset single-stage trigger for a refined shooting experience.

This is a great rifle....
This is a great rifle. Super light. Just over 6 lbs. Functioned flawlessly. Accurate right out of the box. Put 400 rounds of wolf gold 55 gr .223 through it on the first range day. My wife who is new to shooting did great with it, had zero complaints. Sure there are other AR rifles out there for less money, but this one is really worth the extra. Especially if the weight is a concern. I was hesitant about it versus a cheaper AR, but do not regret this purchase one bit.

Competition...
Competition performance for a budget price. I could not be happier with my Saint Edge. To say it is light is an understatement, but its built and shoots solid. The flip up sights are top quality and the furniture is top notch, they made a great decision using Bravo Company stock and grip. The pencil profile barrel holds up well to running through mags and I love the idea of having an adjustable gas block depending on which type of ammo I plan to shoot. The accu-tite system takes out any rattle you might have with other less quality ar-15s. I was looking into triggers before i received my firearm and needless to say I will have a Springfield Armory Saint Edge trigger installed in my other rifles shortly. The straight trigger has a very crisp break and the reset is unbelievable, fraction of an inch. I can see why these rifles are rated so highly and would absolutely recommend this rifle to anyone living in a state with mag restrictions such as myself. It came with a NJ compliant muzzle break, which helps keep the barrel down for follow up shots. It also comes with a 10 round Magpul P-mag, which in my opinion are the best mag manufacturers out there. The M-lok hand guard and full length rail make sure that you're able to attach anything your little heart desires. Working at a gun range I get to shoot alot of different pistols, shotguns and rifles. Everything from low cost budget builds to $8k custom competition guns. I'm not just saying this because I own one, but the Saint Edge stacks up with the best of them out there. Do yourself a favor and pick one of these up while you can, i promise you that you'll be extremely happy with your purchase. Hope this was helpful for anyone on the fence about this rifle.
