Built on a 26-inch Chromoly steel fluted and tapered barrel with a 1:24 VAPR twist, it helps stabilize a wider range of saboted projectiles for accurate hunting performance. The Elite XT trigger system features a crisp, clean breaking pull with a rebounding hammer and cross-block trigger safety.

Traditions Nitrofire...
Traditions Nitrofire with Traditions scope. The gun shipped and delivered to a local dealer who helped me through the verification process. It took a couple extra days for the background check and then I was called back for pick up. It's my first muzzleloader and I have to say it's much better than I expected. At the local range, even the RSO's were impressed on how fast and easy it was to reload and shoot. It took 5 shots to dial in the scope, the scope is not very high quality (should have got the Vortex instead of basic Traditions). Overall very happy.
