The Troy Defense 5.56 Carbine is built on a forged Mil-Spec AR-15 platform with M4 feed ramps, a chrome moly vanadium barrel with a 1/7 RH twist, and a free-float 13" Alpha Rail for secure, stable handling. Troy includes a Medieval flash suppressor, Battle Ax 6-position adjustable stock, and front and rear Troy BattleSight systems for dependable use with or without an optic.

I was very pleased...
I was very pleased with my service at Buds. I ordered my rifle and picked it up without a hitch. The rifle is put together well and is both aesthetically and functionally pleasing. It zeroed quickly and is consistent and accurate. I do wish that it would have came with some rail sections. The hand guard is awesome, I added some Troy Squid Grips to the rail for a nice feel. The BUIS were close to on out of the box, but I added a Aimpoint PRO just because. Overall I would recommend this rifle to anyone looking to buy a rifle that requires minimal change for tactical/home defense applications. I will probably change the trigger as the factory trigger is a little stiff and "creepy", but that is to be expected of most factory triggers.
