This was my second...
This was my second purchase from Bud's -- excellent service once again. The Vanguard S2 SS chambered in .308 is a well-balanced tack driver. 0.5" groups at 100 yards. I fitted a Nikon Monarch 3 (4-16x50) and an Atlas bipod. Recoil is negligible. Trigger pull is outstanding -- it's set at about 3.5#. Finish is excellent, and the synthetic stock feels solid -- combined with the stainless steel barrel, this should decrease the maintenance following rain or snow. I followed the instructions from Weatherby regarding break-in. About 100 rds through it so far, and... it's a keeper. Outstanding price, outstanding value.
