Delivered in less than...
Delivered in less than a week. Metal uniformly finished. No scratches. Factory magazines manipulate nicely. Negligible side-to-side wobble. Mag catch smooth. Safety a little tight, simple fix if it doesn't loosen of its' own accord. Front sight appears straight. Shoots close to point of aim out of box. Recoil notably soft for a 308. This model has the "battle worn" furniture-On this example, it amounts to the hand guard having a line of invisible scratches that one can feel-as though it was given a single pass with a worn out file. Unsure how that is considered a selling point. Being an AK, this is not a personal concern-just an oddity to my way of thinking. Single complaint is the trigger-there is absolutely NO discernible wall before the break. IMO, aftermarket trigger will be required in order to achieve consistent accuracy. I have an M70 of similar vintage that has an excellent wall from the factory. Not a deal breaker for me, as I feel a trigger upgrade should be any AK's first accessory. Trigger upgrades for AKs aren't overly expensive. Overall, quite happy with the purchase.
