I learned the shoot...
I learned the shoot shotguns with a 26" double, which is about the same length as a regular shotgun with a 22" bbl.. For this reason; I have always preferred the shorter length bbls on my shotguns - they handle quick and are easier to carry. Also; I like the lighter weight of the M2 vs other Benelli options, so this gun fits my need for a fast-cycling wing-shooting tool. Love it!

After initial (and...
After initial (and repeat) assemblies, the bolt sticks in the aft position when it should not. If the red dot is visible with the indicator lever in the down position, the bolt should not appear to lock back. If it does this, the bolt is not really locked, so take care not to have your hand near it. I learned the hard way, thinking something was just wrong with the bolt release. M2 is on the way back to Benelli. This apparently has happened to other guns on occasion. This particular specimen is a fail, but reviews are generally good for the M2, so I'm expecting to be pleased in the end. Benelli took responsibility for all shipping costs since this was a new gun.

I purchased this...
I purchased this Benelli to use for 3 gun competition after using a Remington 1100 for the last 2 years. I have used a friend's Benelli several times and they have been 100% reliable and this one has not disappointed me so far. After searching for this model for the last month, I lucked out to catch one in Buds inventory. I ordered it on Sunday, and it was delivered to my dealer on Wednesday. This was my first gun purchased on the internet, and I had a great experience. Thank you to everyone at Buds.
