It always amazes me...
It always amazes me how much value CZ can offer at such affordable price points. The CZ1020 is no exception. The 1020 benefits from second generation (G2) engineering improvements to the CZ line of inertia-operated semi-automatics. At 6 1/2 lbs. this very moderately priced 20 GA is perfect for dragging through grouse covers and not worrying about bumps and bruises. Maintenance of the inertia-operated action is minimal versus its gas-operated counterparts. In my brief experience with the firearm, it cycled hunting loads reliably. Initially, target loads would intermittently fail to cycle the action. This has improved with additional break-in rounds. Hopefully, it will continue to improve However, this isn't a target gun, so it's not of critical importance. At this point, I have no complaints whatsoever, so it's easy to give the CZ1020 a five-star rating.
