Purchased the gun last...
Purchased the gun last year, as I was wanting something for upland birds. My son uses my 20 gauge, and 12 gauge seems like overkill for grouse. So last season and part of this season, I have used it to shoot quite a few birds, and hundreds of clays. It's not the fanciest, but is definitely a good looking gun. IT mounts easily and has never failed on me. The case coloring still looks good, even though the stock has acquired a few bumps and bruises out in the mountains. I actually found myself falling in slow motion while climbing through some nasty deadfall after ruffed grouse and literally threw the gun away from me...picked it up and shot another bird within minutes. It's no safe queen, and gets banged around in the back of my SxS and covered with dust on the dry WY mountain trails. A quick wipedown after each trip and a good cleaning once a month or so and it's back to work. Solid and fun gun at a price that won't make you cringe when you bang the butt on a tree stump.

Shoots great. Love the 16 gauge. Best CZ Sharptail price I have ever come across. cleaned up with ease. Four different size shoots and the all could place the sights comfortably. Looks very nice. edges of barrels were sharp to the touch, and it is hard to open, but a firm cleaning cloth and some oil and all was well. I would expect such from a lower priced shotgun, but not from one that has a suggested retail so high. Quality on the fine things should be better for the price, but guns that I get from Buds at deals seem to be 2nd had stuff often. Maybe that is why they have the prices that they do. Nothing was unsafe or not functional or correctable.
