A: Yes this'll function just fine with 2¾" rounds, it'll take up to 3" magnum loads, but 2¾ is the standard.

A: Yes, 3 inch chambered shotguns can handle 2-3/4 inch shells. In a semi automatic low velocity shells might not cycle the bolt all the way back but shouldn't have any issues. Hope this helps.
