Great gun and good...
Great gun and good price. I compared this to the Shockwave and they are very similar. Well made gun with spring assisted slide which can be removed if you do not like. I think the .410 in this type of gun and using from BB to #4 buck would sufficiently stop any threat and with the addition of a laser sight would be quick on target. The pros and cons when compared are half a dozen on one and six on the other and is just a matter of name and brand you prefer and far as functionality. I suggest this one because of price and quality of construction.

Great Bud's service...
Great Bud's service and pricing (as usual) - not so good gun - Charles Daly Honcho 410 shotgun! I'll start by saying I've owned Mossberg's, a Remington 870 and Ithaca shotguns, so I have a little experience with this type of gun. I recently decided my Mossberg 12 ga 590A (which was a beautiful piece of machinery) was just too much gun for my living circumstances and I looked for something smaller, yet effective. The Daly Honcho 410 is not promoted that much, but I did my due diligence and what I could find was very complimentary and this particular model featured a spring-assisted forend - which was an interesting feature. I could not find one at any gun dealers, but I assumed the quality would be equal to other brands in the marketplace; it worked for my needs, so I decided to buy it. I received the gun and it simply didn't appear to be a quality product. It's made in Turkey - but I had assumed this relatively old established company would offer a top-notch product wherever it was made. Took it to the range and had great difficulty loading the shells into the magazine tube - they would spring back into the receiver area without engaging the forend. Multiple shells could not be loaded, and somehow I got some shells to chamber, but others would jam making the gun not operable. I couldn't even assess the value of the spring-assisted forend. I had difficulty making phone contact with the company, but did get a response by email and the gun is now heading back to Daly (or Chiappa Firearms the US distributor). I've had experience with Sig, S&W and Ruger - their customer service has always been very pleasant and responsive ... and these companies all make a quality products that just "feels" right when you put it in your hands. I did not get that feeling with this particular gun. I will await their response and will give them the benefit of the doubt until then. I would not recommend this gun based on my experience, but I realize the gun I received might be the exception. I would suggest caution if you are interested in this brand/model.

Tough to say bad...
Tough to say bad things about the functionality of this firearm. It shoots tight ooo buck patterns at 10 yards and is relatively accurate with slugs at 25 yards. It is fun to shoot. Score = 5.If you want technical support or want customer service, don't buy this firearm. Chiappa distributes this gun and they simply don't care. They are extremely rude. When something breaks on this gun, you better have a good Smith because Chiappa offers zero support. Score = 0
