A: Jay, I do not believe this shotgun would be permitted due to having a pistol grip and a detachable magazine which is considered by the state of NJ to be an "assault firearm"; however, I am not a legal authority on the matter so you might wish to consult with your FFL or a proper law enforcement authority on the matter. A: Hey user. This should be legal in Jersey due to it being a bullpup and having an over all length of 30". I would definitely give BUDS a call and poss your local FFL to double check. But the grip not being under the action allows the grip legal from what I can find. 30" OAL is mandatory. Hope this helps
